Saponifier Magazine currently employs freelance writers only, paying 2½ cents per word (up to $25 per article) for each piece that has not been previously published.

Articles submitted to Saponifier must be at least 600 words in length; we prefer they be 1000. Authors are expected to provide their own images unless other arrangements are made in advance of the deadline; we do have the ability to locate and provide suitable images, so giving us the time to do so is appreciated. Saponifier does not pay additional funds for images.

Upon publication, all articles become the property of Saponifier and cannot be published in print or on the Internet without express written permission.

If you are interested in joining the Saponifier team, please submit a sample article below, including your full name and contact information in the cover letter. Sample articles must focus on a topic relating to soap, candles or tolietries and be at least 600 words in length. Once received, we will review your submission and contact you with more information.
